Nuevo libro sobre la biología del lenguado

Investigadores del IATS-CSIC (Dr. Evaristo Mañanós) participan en la edición de un libro sobre el cultivo y biología del lenguado, especie de alto interés en la acuicultura europea y especialmente en la península Ibérica. El libro contiene artículos científico-técnicos agrupados en las secciones de «FISHERIES, AQUACULTURE AND ENGINEERING» y «REPRODUCTION, DEVELOPMENT, NUTRITION, WELFARE, ECOTOXICOLOGY, PATHOLOGY, OSMOREGULATION AND GENETICS», en cuya autoría participan investigadores de 3 centros del CSIC, el IATS-CSIC de Castellón (Dr. Evaristo Mañanós), el ICMAN-CSIC de Cádiz (Dra. Carmen Sarasquete y Dr. Juan B. Ortiz-Delgado) y el ICM-CSIC de Barcelona (Dra. Montserrat Solé).

Summary

This book reviews up-to-date knowledge on the biology of sole (Solea senegalensis and S. solea). These flatfish species are increasingly important in Europe both from the ecological and production point of view.
